Sioux Falls approves $12.2M contract with first new transit manager in three decades
Via Transportation to eventually blend on-demand services with fixed routes
The city of Sioux Falls has a new partner to run its public transportation system.
In an 8-0 vote Tuesday night, City Councilors unanimously approved a five-year agreement with New York-based Via Transportation Inc. to provide transit management services throughout Sioux Falls starting Jan. 1, 2024.
