Sioux Empire Fair profits jump in 2022
Successful 83rd annual fair comes amid questions about its future
The Sioux Empire Fair generated nearly a half-million dollars in net profit this year, marking a 29 percent increase in revenue over 2021.

“It’s going to take everything to line up again,” Wick said.
Line up it did this year. The weather cooperated, and Wick said he didn’t get any calls from the National Weather Service and there were no complaints about misconduct among fairgoers.
