South Dakota’s only professional basketball squad rebounded from what would have otherwise been the franchise’s most devastating defeat a quarter century ago this week.
A local ownership group made a buzzer beating acquisition of the Sioux Falls Skyforce, sparing the team from dissolution it faced when the Continental Basketball Association it played in abruptly folded following a brief ownership under former NBA star, Isiah Thomas.
