Fake news out of Russia brought fears that a Huron family had been murdered in China 125 years ago this week.
At least 60 missionaries and one hundred Chinese Christian converts had been massacred by Chinese Boxer rebels in Tayuan, according to news reports that reached South Dakota on July 20, 1900.
