It’s taken some time to get to this point, but Spearfish is moving forward this spring with new trail projects, including a gravity skills park. So what’s that? The Black Hills Pioneer describes it thusly:

“... a little bit like a ski slope for cyclists and runners. Everyone uses the same single trail to reach the top of the hill. At the top, the trails fork so that each user can choose the path best suited to their skill level.”
