Residents who eat at The Banquet’s two Sioux Falls locations are guaranteed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, thanks to a donation made by the National Wild Turkey Federation. Its East Dakota Chapter is donating 70 turkeys to the nonprofit, which serves 16 free meals per week.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with the National Wild Turkey Federation to ensure that meals get to those in need,” said Tamera Jerke-Liesinger, executive director of The Banquet Sioux Falls. “Hunger doesn’t take holidays, and this generous gift helps our guests celebrate this time of year with a bit more dignity.”
