This is truly a grant to hell. It makes absolutely no sense, and only tax money earmarked for corruption.

A perfect headline in Clownworld. If one ever begins to forget how stupid our federal government is, a quick dose of daily news will drag you back to reality.

Wow, what a brilliant idea! An EV garbage truck on a reservation! Who’s the genius behind that decision?! That money could have been better spent on the dismal healthcare system or other infrastructure! The Bureau of Indian Affairs needs to be disbanded!

Unreal!! But it is the Federal Government buying votes for the socialist leadership. I travel that area a lot and I’m pretty sure I have never seen an EV in any of that area. The first time that garage truck breaks it’ll be pushed into the weeds like so many of those things are done. They won’t have the money to fix it like the wind generator at the NE/SD state line.

An EV transit or school bus with heat running constantly, in the month of January, with days of negative temps could challenge the safe use transiting people . I’ll assume that was thought through. Not sure that’s one of the intended uses but the first time that bus stalls out we can ponder if the investment was worth it. Same w Garbage hauler. Those have to be massive “eco friendly” pieces of lithium / cadmium that extol efficiency and safety in the northern climate situations. It will be a good experiment to follow up on.

I hope a tow truck is and diesel backup garbage truck is included in this grant. Who within hundreds of miles has the knowledge and parts to fix this when it breaks? Reminds me of the wind turbine at the Rosebud state-line casino that never seemed to be turning on windy days when I drove by because it was always broken. Huge waste of taxpayer money that will make no difference to the climate.
