Rogness will plead guilty to two counts in Wendel case, filing says
The Brookings man charged as an accessory in Sioux Falls 14-year-old’s death indicated his intentions as part of a plea agreement

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — One of two defendants charged federally in connection to the death of a missing Sioux Falls girl has informed the court he will plead guilty.
In a notice filed Monday, 38-year-old Jon Rogness, of Brookings, informed a judge that he will plead guilty to conspiracy to conceal objects and accessory after the fact.
Rogness, through defense attorney Tim Herschberger, said in the filing that the guilty plea is part of a plea agreement — though the terms of the plea agreement have not yet been made publicly available.
