Gov. Larry Rhoden said Wednesday that he will create a Correctional Rehabilitation Task Force to guide the expansion of inmate programming as the state moves forward with plans for a new men’s prison.

The task force, to be established by executive order, will follow passage of draft legislation authorizing the prison project. Lawmakers are set to vote on the plan during a Sept. 23 special session.
