South Dakota Gov. Larry Rhoden has chosen a longtime IT guru to oversee state government’s massive digital network.
The governor’s office on Thursday announced longtime technology professional Mark Wixon as the new commissioner of the South Dakota Bureau of Information and Telecommunications (BIT), filling a vacancy created after former Commissioner Madhu Gottumukkala accepted a federal post under former Gov. Kristi Noem.
