The “silver tsunami” of retirements at Sioux Falls City Hall that former Mayor Paul TenHaken warned of in recent years is upon his successor.

New Mayor Christine Erickson’s administration announced Wednesday that it has begun hiring searches to fill two more cabinet positions made vacant by the planned retirements of longtime department heads whose departures coincided with the end of her predecessor’s tenure.
