The Walk-in Warrant program gives people a chance to resolve outstanding warrants without getting arrested. Warrants are issued for scores of offenses, ranging from people who miss court dates, forget to pay tickets or for petty crimes.
The Walk-in Warrant Program is available to most of those outstanding warrants, including bench warrants, class I and II misdemeanors, possession of controlled substances and civil and criminal child support warrants, and even some class 6 felonies. Not eligible are sex crimes, domestic violence or stalking cases, probation violations or motions to revoke probation. Nor are violent crimes eligible.
