Regents: Northern State president is priority candidate for Nebraska Kearney chancellor post

Neal Schnoor, the president of Northern State University, has been announced as the priority candidate to be chancellor at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Schnoor informed the Northern State campus community of the news via an email sent Tuesday, April 22. It included a news release from the University of Nebraska System.

Schnoor was born in Norfolk, Neb., and raised in Pierce. He’s a former longtime Nebraska Kearney faculty member and administrator.
