The company that owns Pita Pit franchises in Sioux Falls is denying accusations made by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission that it discriminated against a pregnant employee.

Bubbamax LLC took over the company accused of wrongdoing in March of this year. The EEOC asserts in its federal complaint that Bubbamax was aware of the discrimination complaint when it assumed control of the Pita Pits from QSR Pita.

According to Secretary of State records, Paul Duerre was the principal in QSR. The EEOC asserts that he was the guarantor in the business transfer from QSR to Bubbamax.
