Sioux Falls has a venerable history of supporting nonprofits and elevating quality of life through philanthropy, but there are widening fault lines in that decades-old system.

That was a conclusion of a panel discussion featuring three leaders in the philanthropy space, hosted earlier this month by the Rotary Club of Downtown Sioux Falls.

While philanthropic support remains strong, they warn looming challenges will demand action.
