Norma Carolyn Weelborg passed away on the evening of Sept. 6, 2026, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. She was 92 years old. Norma resided at Bethany Care Home in Brandon for the past three years.
Norma was born on Oct. 3, 1933, to Edgar and Edith Ortberg. She met, married and had three children with Lowell Robert Weelborg (deceased 2016) in the Watertown area. They were married for 65 years. Together, Norma and Lowell owned and successfully operated Chatfield Farm Service in Chatfield, Minn., for more than 20 years. She was their bookkeeper until they retired and moved to Florida in 1987.
She is survived by her three children: Angela “Jill” Paulsen, Carol Y Sasich, and Robert Lowell Weelborg — all of Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; and several nieces.
Norma loved her small dogs Buffy, Sable and Munchkin, to name a few.
Private services will be held by the family.
