Deputy Katherine Ann Frank, age 26, passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2026 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls. (Attendees are encouraged to be seated by noon on the day of the service.) On Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, a visitation will be held in Dawson, Minn., at Grace Lutheran Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A private family interment will follow.
