Jacob Baumberger, infant son of Jake and Mariah Baumberger, was born on Sept. 11, 2026 and passed away on Sept. 13, 2026. A private family service will be held.
Jacob is survived by his parents; his siblings, Hannah and Anthony; his grandparents, Tony and Shelly Baumberger of Colman and Doug and Deb Mergen of Dell Rapids; his great-grandparents, Vonnie Baumberger of Dell Rapids, Richard and Virginia Mergen of Dell Rapids and Steve Jacobson of Dell Rapids; his uncles, Tyler Baumberger and Trevor (Cassie) Mergen; his aunt, Lyndsey (Tanner) Ljunggren; and his extended family.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Sam and Lucy Boeve, Eugene “Geno” Baumberger, Roger Nelsen and Carole Jacobson.
