Another drug overdose death in the South Dakota prison system has been tied back to a former state employee.
The South Dakota Attorney General’s Office this week announced another round of criminal indictments stemming from a rash of fatalities among Department of Corrections inmates this year, bringing felony charges against two more people who investigators say contributed to the death of a 33-year-old State Penitentiary inmate in early November.
