For the second week in a row, inclement winter weather has pushed Gov. Kristi Noem to close state government offices.

The governor Wednesday afternoon ordered all state government executive branch offices statewide to be closed Thursday due to winter storm weather in South Dakota. And with offices already closed on Friday and Monday for the Christmas holiday, state offices will reopen Tuesday Dec. 27.

“While executive branch offices in the rest of the state will be closed, employees will be working remotely,” according to a news release issued by Noem’s office.

Blizzard and near blizzard conditions are expected to impact the entire state beginning Wednesday and last through the day Thursday. Many state highways already have no travel advised, and numerous roads are physically blocked.

What has she done for the people at the Rosebud Reservation? Maybe I missed the news that she has sent help?
