For the second week in a row, inclement winter weather has pushed Gov. Kristi Noem to close state government offices.
The governor Wednesday afternoon ordered all state government executive branch offices statewide to be closed Thursday due to winter storm weather in South Dakota. And with offices already closed on Friday and Monday for the Christmas holiday, state offices will reopen Tuesday Dec. 27.
“While executive branch offices in the rest of the state will be closed, employees will be working remotely,” according to a news release issued by Noem’s office.
