Mayor Paul TenHaken’s administration is promising not to go over budget on tens of millions worth of new indoor aquatics and recreation centers — by much.

That’s the pitch Sioux Falls Finance Director Shawn Pritchett made to city councilors this week while briefing them ahead of long-anticipated votes on a proposed $77 million bonding package that would cover the construction of new pool campuses at Kuehn and Frank Olson Parks.
