Immerse yourself in Native American culture through art, music and dance Saturday at the fourth annual All My Relatives Festival at the Levitt at the Falls from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The free festival features concerts and fashion shows by indigenous designers, says Rose Ann Hofland, vice president of programming for Levitt at the Falls.

There will be a vendor fair, contemporary and traditional music, a youth drum group and the presentation of tribal flags.

The film crew will be Outlast Camp youth from the summer camp to “lift up the youth voice to tell the stories of indigenous artists through the day,” Hofland says.

They will be working side-by-side with the Levitt team as the behind-the-scenes red carpet interview crew to capture and share the artistry happening at the festival.

Jackie Bird, a Native American singer/songwriter will perform at 10:30. She blends music, singing and dance with puppetry and visual arts. She also designs traditional fashion and regalia.

Stella Standingbear and Mato Wayuhi are co-headliners beginning at 7 p.m.

Standingbear spent nine weeks in the Top 40 of Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart, the first Oglala Lakota artist to spend that much time on the chart. She is a two-time Native American Music Award winner. Her music combines rap, R&B and pop.

Wayuhi is an Oglala Lakota artist who composes music for film and TV. He was the composer for the award-winning FX/Hulu series “Reservation Dogs.”

Wayuhi is also an Outlast instructor and board member who helped organize the participation of the Outlast youth.

“We were selected by the Smithsonian Folk Life initiative that is highlighting 40 festivals across the nation as part of the America 250 as a way to celebrate and uplift youth,” Hofland said.
