Public officials square off over critiques of non-profit's inclusivity initiatives
Two county officials and a resident spoke out at Tuesday’s Minnehaha County Commission meeting about the use of “county tax dollars” to support the Sioux Empire United Way.
Dan Goeller, of Sioux Falls, told the board it showed “favoritism” to the longtime charitable operation to have the county use payroll officials to offer employees a chance to donate on their paychecks.
