A Sioux Falls man running for mayor has filed suit against the city, accusing various Sioux Falls officials with violating his constitutional rights for more than a decade.

David Zokaites is asking the court to award him $22.2 million in damages. His lawsuit, filed Friday night, names current and former city councilors, as well as other city and Minnehaha County officials.
