South Dakota's longest-serving county commissioner has a new appointment in Pierre
PIERRE — South Dakota’s longest-serving county commissioner has earned an appointment to the board of the South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
Lincoln County Commissioner Jim Schmidt was appointed by Gov. Larry Rhoden on Friday, July 18, to serve on the economic development board, which focuses on driving the economic environment in the state for the next generation’s success.
