Lincoln County officials said last week's straight-line windstorm that hit Hudson was worse than the pictures and video showed, but the response could not have been better.

Lincoln County commissioners on Tuesday praised the coordinated response to last week's devastating windstorm that flattened Hudson and surrounding areas, leaving massive tree piles and widespread damage across the southern part of the county.
