A still-fresh move in Lincoln County to make government more accessible is bringing friction to South Dakota's fastest-growing governmental jurisdiction.
That was on display Tuesday night in Canton when county commissioners — some begrudgingly — opted to keep holding one proceeding each month outside of regular business hours. But that decision wasn’t made until after commissioners sparred over the proposal to stop conducting open meetings in the evening.
