LETTER | Thanks for supporting church fundraiser
Letter to the editor by Sawyer Van Horn of Brandon
On June 6, I had a movie night fundraiser at my church, Celebration United Methodist Church in Brandon. We showed “Inside Out 2” and raised money for Sanford Children’s Hospital and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. At the beginning of the month, I helped the church mail out the checks. All proceeds were split 50/50. And we ended up raising $400! I want to thank Derek Thompson from church who was my right-hand man in organizing this fundraiser. And I want to thank the church for their help with this fundraiser.
Additionally thank you to everyone who showed up to support the cause.
