The South Dakota Supreme Court recently upheld the convictions of Lance Long. Among his many depraved crimes he was accused of smoking methamphetamine with his minor step-children and sexually assaulting his step-daughter.
Under current state law if he had impregnated his step-daughter, she would have been forced by this state to carry to term and give birth to this monster’s child. Does this make sense to anyone? These are the realities that victims of crime and the victims of circumstance face under our abortion ban.
