The Air Force officer who led the investigation into a costly B-1B bomber crash last year is set to take command of the unit where the incident occurred.
Col. Erick D. Lord has been selected as the next commander of the 28th Bomb Wing at Ellsworth Air Force Base, the service announced this week.
