Three Minnehaha County commissioners were elected to four-year terms in Tuesday’s countywide election.
Jen Bleyenberg, who lives near Wall Lake and was the only incumbent in the race, has been elected to a second term, while newcomers Kenny Anderson Jr. and Brent Hoffman, both of Sioux Falls, will join her on the five-member commission in January.
Anderson and Hoffman will replace current commission members Gerald Beninga and Joe Kippley, who both decided against seeking another term. Not up for election this year were Commission Chairman Dean Karsky and Commissioner Cole Heisey.
