Juvenile placed in South Dakota Department of Corrections custody after threats to 'shoot up school'
A juvenile delinquent who threatened to shoot up his school was correctly committed to the Department of Corrections, the South Dakota Supreme Court determined Thursday.
But the Court also ruled that one of the findings that Judge Scott Roetzel made in the case should be reversed – a decision that one justice on the Court disagreed with in a dissent.
The case centered on a juvenile identified as J.A.D.
