A national task force that includes South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley is warning four voice providers to stop the robocalls.

The Anti-Robocall Multistage Litigation Task Force sent warning letters to the four providers suspected of transmitting illegal robocalls.

“Robocalls are not just nuisance, but they also can be illegal,” Jackley said in a release. “These calls can be scams that prey on South Dakotans and other citizens.”
