South Dakota libraries will receive their full federal Institute of Museum and Library Services grant for 2025, reversing earlier projections that the state would receive only half of its annual allocation.
The South Dakota Library Association (SDLA) announced the update on its website and social media platforms on Friday. The restored funding ensures the continuation of services previously in jeopardy due to uncertainty surrounding IMLS appropriations.
