The challenger in the reelection bid of South Dakota's junior U.S. senator is demanding that television stations stop airing political attack ads labeling him a Democrat, insinuating broadcast stations could be held liable if they don't comply.

But the group that's also calling Brian Bengs a “pro-abortion extremist” in advertising spots that began airing last month is standing by the political action committee assault that juxtaposes the second-time U.S. Senate candidate and Mike Rounds foe with the likes of President Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton.
