Persistent illegal dumping of garbage and other materials is forcing Millennium Recycling to close its public recycling drop-off area, change scheduled for the end of the year.

Millennium is the main recycling center in the region – diverting cans, cardboard, paper and other recycled materials that would otherwise end up in the Sioux Falls Regional Landfill.
