Ileen Elizabeth Conzemius, 83

March 26, 1941 - January 21, 2025

Ileen Conzemius, age 83, of Sioux Falls, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Society - Lutheran Manor, Sioux Falls. Her Memorial Service will be announced Spring 2025. Her graveside service will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Armour, South Dakota at a later date.

Daughter of Bernard and Blanche (Palmer) Conzemius, Ileen Elizabeth Conzemius was born March 26, 1941, in Wagner, Charles Mix County, South Dakota. In 1959, she graduated from Armour High School. She earned her nursing degree from Mount Marty School of Nursing at Yankton, South Dakota in 1962. Ileen spent the next 50 years taking care of her parents, residents in the nursing home, her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Grateful for having shared her life are her brothers: Bernard A. Conzemius and his wife, Dede of Elmhurst, IL, Clarence P. Conzemius and his wife, Mary Jo of Rochester, MN, Michael R. Conzemius of Calgary, Canada, Boyd A. Conzemius and his wife, Pam of Pierre, SD, Virgil N. Conzemius and his wife, Pat of Sioux Falls; two sisters, Rose Mary Grode of Bristol, SD and Marcella G. Pickart and her husband, Joe of Corsica, SD; sister-in-law, Fran of Mckenzie, TN; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bernard Conzemius; mother, Blanche Conzemius; brothers, Daniel W. Conzemius and Raymond V. Conzemius; and sisters-in-law, Pat Conzemius and Joan Conzemius.
