Helen C. Schrader, age 107, died May 19, 2025, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral Services were held Friday, May 30th, 2025, at Ellsworth Funeral Home in Madison. Burial was held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.

Helen Weber was born near Madison on August 4, 1917, to Michael and Kathryn (Seefeld) Weber. She graduated from Madison High School in 1935. After graduation she worked in the Montgomery Ward Credit Office for 9 years. She married Emert Schrader on May 12, 1940, at Madison. She and her husband had a restaurant in Madison called Schrader’s Café for 32 years. She was a member of the Madison United Methodist Church where she was confirmed in 1931.

She is survived by her children. Janene (Ray) Thomas of Cedarburg, WI, Sharla (David) Scholl of Sioux Falls, Daughter-in-Law, Pat Schrader of Sioux Falls; 8 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1995, two sons, Dennis and Max and one brother Wayne Weber.
