Harrisburg hires Southeast Tech’s Kluin as chief financial officer

After 20 years at the head of the tech school’s finance department, Rich Kluin will serve in one of South Dakota’s fastest-growing cities

HARRISBURG — A familiar face in the Sioux Empire is set to lead finances for one of South Dakota’s fastest-growing cities.

The Harrisburg City Council on Tuesday, Aug. 18, approved the hire of Rich Kluin to serve as the city’s chief financial officer, a position he’ll assume on Aug. 24.
