Habitual criminal gets prison sentence for assaulting federal officer

A Lower Brule man who has had frequent run-ins with the law will serve more than seven years in prison for assaulting a federal officer.
Cody Crazy Bull, 35, was sentenced Monday to federal prison for seven years and three months followed by three years of supervised release by Judge Eric Schulte. Crazy Bull was convicted of assaulting, resisting and impeding a federal officer.
