Dakota State University President José-Marie Griffiths will step down as president of the school following the end of this academic year.

But she’s not leaving DSU.

After stepping down, she will continue to serve the institution in a new capacity as chancellor, a position created to support DSU’s growing national reputation in cybersecurity – a reputation that has grown in her decade of leadership at the university.

Silencer Central filed a lawsuit against FedEx Corp. and its subsidiaries on Wednesday in federal court in South Dakota, alleging the shipping giant reneged on a promise to deliver firearm suppressors directly to customers’ homes.
