Gov. Rhoden puts ag advocate on South Dakota Senate
Brandon Wipf succeeds Judge David Wheeler in District 22 legislative seat
Gov. Larry Rhoden has appointed Huron-area farmer and agriculture leader Brandon Wipf to the South Dakota Senate.
Wipf, a fourth-generation farmer from southern Spink County, will represent District 22 in the Legislature effective immediately. His appointment fills a vacancy created earlier this year when Rhoden named former Sen. David Wheeler to the bench in the state’s Third Judicial Circuit.
