The publisher of Gov. Kristi Noem’s controversial new book is conceding that it will have to fix another factual error made by the governor, this one about South Dakota Sen. Mike Rounds.

Hachette Book Group will amend future editions of “No Going Back” to clarify Noem’s allegation that Rounds called on Donald Trump to drop out of the presidential race in October, 2016 following the release of taped conversations in which Trump bragged about how he enjoyed fondling women. The release of the Access Hollywood tapes came near the end of the presidential campaign and nearly derailed his campaign, forcing Trump to issue a rare apology.

But contrary to Noem’s claim, Rounds did not call on Trump to drop out.
