A South Dakota tribe has lifted its banishment of Gov. Kristi Noem from its reservation, and its top official is endorsing her nomination to President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet.

The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe’s Executive Committee this week rescinded a prior decision to ban the South Dakota governor from its territory in Moody County ahead of Noem’s confirmation hearings as U.S. Homeland Security secretary in the U.S. Senate later this week.
