CANTON — A spat among Lincoln County commissioners over public-private partnership funding spilled into another month of governing this week.

Tensions remained high behind the County Commission dais at the Lincoln County Courthouse when unexpected support emerged for a regional wastewater system from a spending-wary commissioner who earlier this year led efforts to eliminate most nonprofit subsidies in the county’s annual budget.
