A 75,000-square-foot indoor recreation center that will replace an aging outdoor pool is on its way to eastern Sioux Falls.
The City Council on Tuesday gave a $47 million stamp of approval for Mayor Paul TenHaken’s long-sought overhaul of Frank Olson Park — though not without continued frustration over how the project’s fitness and gym components might compete with private businesses in South Dakota’s largest community.
