Former AFP state director returning to take helm
Haggar to serve as regional vice president and state director of pro-business advocacy group
A familiar face is returning to run the South Dakota chapter of one of the largest pro-business lobbying groups in the country.
Americans for Prosperity-South Dakota announced Wednesday that Don Haggar will serve as the chapter’s state director. It’s a position he’s held in the past, from 2017 to 2021, before becoming an AFP regional vice president.
And no, Haggar is not relinquishing his regional role: Instead, he will wear two hats as state director and regional vice president.
“I’ll just call it a change,” he told The Dakota Scout. “We do this. We mix things up from time to time.”
