Federal officials are sending millions of dollars to South Dakota to help communities test for and address so-called “forever chemicals” in drinking water.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Tuesday announced $9.4 million in grant funding for South Dakota through a program aimed at helping small and disadvantaged communities deal with PFAS and other ground and well water contaminants.
