The Lightning Thief

The Dakota Academy of Performing Arts presents the Percy Jackson musical. For those who don’t know, as the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly discovered powers he can’t control, a destiny he doesn’t want and a mythology textbook’s worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus’s master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime subject, he must find the lightning bolt and return it to clear his name.

Sioux Empire Brass Holiday Concert

The Sioux Empire Brass is presenting their holiday concert: “Music from Around the World.” The Sioux Empire Brass is directed by Rolf Olson. The Sioux Empire Brass is a 35-piece brass choir made up of musicians from Sioux Falls and surrounding communities.
The Suits

The Suits are comprised of four men performing four genres of hit music across four decades. The group uses choreography and harmonies with audience interaction and takes audiences on a journey from the 50s through the 80s. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer the musical

Rudolph saves Christmas and goes down in history in this family classic musical. The Augustana Theatre Department is partnering with the LifeScape Center for the Arts and Black Hills Playhouse in their theatre students’ first experience with an all-abilities production. For the final production on Sunday at 2:30 p.m., will be autism and sensory-friendly. The production is modified to be inclusive to everyone, and to allow for different sensitivities to lights and sounds.
Frozen Heart Ballet

Frozen Heart follows the journeys of Princesses Anna and Elsa with adventures involving characters and creatures of all kinds. The performance travels to the land of Arendelle and follows a story of true love and acceptance between sisters. Cost is $10.00 for children and students, $15 for adults.
