Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest

The Fort Pierre Knights of Columbus, Little Flower Council #6117, will host their annual free throw contest. Children ages 9 through 14 are invited to compete in their gender and age groups, with each shooter attempting 15 free throws after three warm-up shots. The competitor with the most successful attempts in each group will be crowned the council champion and advance to the district competition. Winners will receive a commemorative basketball and a t-shirt, and those who continue to win will compete for state honors. This event, a key tradition for the Fort Pierre Knights of Columbus, offers a fun opportunity for kids and families to come together while participating in a global contest organized by the Knights of Columbus.
